At Cat Janiga Jewelry, we stand behind the craftsmanship and quality of all of our pieces with our free 1-Year Limited Warranty. We guarantee that when you receive your product(s), every jewelry item will be free of material and manufacturing defects. This warranty is valid for one (1) year* after the original purchase date, starting on the date of purchase from the Cat Janiga Jewelry online store (catjaniga.com), the Cat Janiga Jewelry Studio or any Cat Janiga Jewelry authorized retailer and subject to applicable laws. (The warranty will become void if the product is resold or purchased from an unauthorized retailer.)
If your jewelry needs some TLC, you can submit your piece(s) to be re-plated with 22k gold or rhodium plating (depending on the jewelry's original plating) once (1) per calendar year, within the one (1) year warranty* period.
Re-plating exception, gold and rhodium plating of pearl stones settings can not be re-plated and are not covered by the re-plating warranty as the pearls are too delicate to be put through a plating process. Doing so would damage the pearls. However, the metal (links, claps, connections, and most chains) are all covered under our manufacturer's defects warranty.
To submit a warranty claim or to inquire if your jewelry is covered under this warranty, please contact us via email at info@catjaniga.com with the subject line “Warranty Claim Request”. In the email body, be sure to include your name, address, proof of purchase (order # or invoice #), picture(s), and description of the issue.
The warranty will become void for any modifications, damage resulting from abuse, accidents, unauthorized repairs or other causes that are not defects in materials and workmanship.
Please note, there will be a service fee for repairs and/or replacements in the following cases, even during the warranty term: failure or damage caused by improper use or carelessness (knocks, dents, crushing, etc.), failure or damage caused by unauthorized modification, physical changes that occur from normal wear and tear, aging (minor scratches, etc.) and alteration of the colour such as subtle colour changes to the plating, etc. We will not honor fraudulent warranty claims and reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to reject any warranty claims which we suspect to be fraudulent.
*This limited warranty is extended to a five (5) year limited warranty for those who subscribe to our VIP Club Program
