I found this 4.5mm strand of intensely blue opals at the Tucson Gemshow and I COULD NOT RESIST myself.
Did I have a plan for them? Nope!
But when I found this neon silk, I knew they belonged together. Hand-strung, this strand of 4.5mm blue Ethiopian opals is absolutely ELECTRIC. I hand-wound some French wire in solid 14K to protect the ends of the silk cord and finished it off with my favourite 14K solid gold, multi-purpose clasp/charm enhancer.
