I hand-carved and sculpted this piece from wax to mimic the folding and flowing movement of waves, and how beautifully those waves catch the light.

And its fluid, folding and crested form is reminiscent of the sun glimmering off undulating waves racing to crash against the shore. 

The Oya Wave Ring is where the nostalgic carefree joy of summer vacations meets elevated design and has become a regular in my ring stack. Surprisingly comfortable, I find myself often caressing and twirling it round and round my finger.

The Oya Wave ring is handmade by Cat Janiga in her studio.
